“I am extremely excited about the opportunity to work as the Technical Director for Chesterfield United.  The club has demonstrated its commitment to the players, teams and membership by hiring an experienced technical staff that will provide a quality program that is second to none in the Richmond area.  Richmond is a great soccer area, rich in talented players as well as quality coaches and clubs.  There will be challenges ahead and constant work to be done, but the structure has been put in place here for Chesterfield United to take the program to the next level!” Kevin Darcy.

Joe Farrel, who has led CUSC since 2001, will take on the role as Academy Director and continue to develop players in preparation for the travel program.  Christian Neagu (boys) and Martin Dell (girls) will direct the U13-U18 travel team program as well as further establish a college placement program for our college bound student athletes.  Kladji Lika will serve as the Director of Player Development for our recreational program working with players and coaches to improve the quality of the recreational leagues.  “We are very fortunate to land a Technical Director with the qualities and experiences of Kevin Darcy”, stated Kevin Blake, President of Chesterfield United Soccer Club. “Joe Ferrell has done a tremendous job in establishing a quality program here and is the right fit to continue to develop our academy players and coaches.  Christian and Martin are top-notch coaches that will not only provide high level technique and tactics for our players but will also be charged with growing, and further educating, our coaching staff.  Kladji is an integral part of our new technical staff and will be a great influence on the recreational players, coaches and overall program."
