Leading Youth Club to Make Annual Tour for U14 Age Group
Williamsburg, VA (May 10, 2008) – The Professional Football Academy (PFA) announced today a new partnership with Chesterfield United FC, a leading youth club based out of the greater Richmond area. The PFA will provide exclusive tour services to Germany for the U14 boys and girls teams. Tour highlights will include friendly matches against top youth German and Dutch teams, stadium tours, professional Bundesliga matches, and training by DFB professional trainers. The teams will have the unique opportunity to stay at one of the leading Sport Schools in Germany where several international professional teams come for preseason training. “We are excited to partner with United FC. The club has already shown that they are serious about player development and the inclusion of this tour will help take players beyond the run of the mill training and weekend matches. This tour will be unique to the area and will inevitably attract players who want to be a part of it”, said Jeff Dominguez, PFA President and Marketing Director. The first tour slated for United FC will take place from April 1-11, 2009.
