2010-2011 PLAYER FEES & PROGRAM DETAILS

All fees are assessed on an annual basis. A one year commitment is required of all accepted players.

Fees include the following:

U15-U18 Classic:	League play Fall 2010, 4 tournaments, Coerver and goalie training
U11 Elite:	League play Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, 6 tournaments, Coerver and goalie training
U12-U14 Elite:	League play Fall 2010 and Spring 2011, State Cup Play, 6 tournaments, Coerver and goalie training
U15-U18 Elite:	League play Fall 2010, State Cup Play, 5 tournaments, Coerver and goalie training

2010 - 2011 Tryout Procedures

Travel Tryout Steps:

Register player online.
Attend tryouts – it is highly recommended that all players attend both tryouts in their age-group.
Parent attend parent meeting at 1^st tryout – Ages U9-U14.
Check email and website for player notification.
Confirm/accept offered position and make first payment.
Attend Registration night.

At Tryouts:

Players arrive and check-in 30 minutes prior to scheduled tryout time.
Players wear plain white t-shirt – no club apparel is acceptable at tryouts.
Players must be wearing shin guards and have properly sized and inflated ball. Be sure to have sufficient water for hydration.
Parent will attend a mandatory meeting on site during the first tryout in each age group – U9-U14.

Player Notification:

Elite team players will be notified by email within 48 hours after last tryout date.

Classic team players will be notified by email by within 72 hours of last tryout date.

Players will have 24 hours from time of notification to confirm their roster spot ONLINE AND PAY THEIR FIRST INSTALLMENT. Anyone not having internet access will have 24 hours to confirm in person, their roster spot to the CUSC Office.

Failure to confirm your roster spot could result in the player not being selected!!

General Tryout Overview 2010/2011

It’s that time of year again!!! Players interested in trying out for a Chesterfield United travel team must register for tryouts online in order to be put in the database and subsequently added to a team through the online system.

Players tryout for their own age group. Any player wishing to play up must submit, in writing, their request to the office, office@chesterfieldunited.com prior to their 1st scheduled tryout date. This includes any player currently playing up in our travel program. Per our general rules, any player U11 or younger may not play up unless there is no team in their legitimate age group. We will, in most cases, be adhering to this rule. All decisions made by the Technical Staff are final. Any request received after tryouts has taken place will not be granted. No special permission will be granted at the fields. All players granted permission to play up must tryout for both age groups and bring their approved letter to play up with them to tryouts.

Again this year will be a U9 Girls team. This will allow the girls to play together as a group in a travel environment without having to play on a predominantly boys team. It is an excellent way for the girls to have a positive experience within our ever growing girls travel program.

Chesterfield United is constantly growing and developing new programs for it’s travel players so mark your calendars and register online for tryouts!
