ADSL TEAMS:
(All Academy teams & U11 Elite teams)
 
2 - 1” square ID style photos – SEE PHOTO NOTES BELOW - PLAYER’S NAME AND TEAM NAME MUST BE ON THE BACK
Completed and notarized medical release form (US CLUB version)
COPY of birth certificate – new CUFC players only
Signed, Player & Parent Code of Conduct
 
 
VSLI TEAMS:
(U12 Elite, All U13 – U19 teams)

ORIGINAL proof of birth, new CUFC players and players moving from an ADSL team to a VSLI team

UNIFORMS:
CUFC is keeping the same uniform for the 2009 – 2010 year.
If you are new to CUFC or need to order replacement parts, you will be able to order uniforms while at registration night.
New players will be assigned jersey numbers based on availability on your team roster.
If there is a number conflict, the player who is returning to the team will have the first choice of keeping or changing their number.
 
Full uniform kit costs $125.00
 
Additional items will be available for purchase or order on registration night.
 
PHOTOS
We will have photographers on site to take ID photos. The cost to have this done will be $5.00.
We STRONGLY RECOMMEND using this service to ensure that your photos are the proper format.
 
If you are bringing your own photo, make sure that it is the proper size 1” square. It also needs to be a clear, front facing portrait with a white or light background. Very little background should show. PLAYER’S NAME AND TEAM NAME MUST BE ON THE BACK. Any photo that does not meet the carding criteria will be rejected by the league registrar.
 
NOTARIES
We will have notaries on site for your convenience. The cost per person is $5.00.

2009 - 2010 Tryout Procedures

Travel Tryout Steps:
  1. Register player online.
  2. Attend tryouts – it is highly recommended that all players attend both tryouts in their age-group.
  3. Parent attend parent meeting at 1st tryout – Ages U9-U14.
  4. Check email and website for player notification.
  5. Confirm/accept offered position and make first payment.
  6. Attend Registration night.
 
At Tryouts:
  • Players arrive and check-in 30 minutes prior to scheduled tryout time.
  • Players wear plain white t-shirt – no club apparel is acceptable at tryouts.
  • Players must be wearing shin guards and have properly sized and inflated ball. Be sure to have sufficient water for hydration.
  • Parent will attend a mandatory meeting on site during the first tryout in each age group – U9-U14.
 
Player Notification:    
Elite team players will be notified by email within 48 hours after last tryout date.
 
Classic team players will be notified by email by within 72 hours of last tryout date.
 
Players will have 24 hours from time of notification to confirm their roster spot ONLINE AND PAY THEIR FIRST INSTALLMENT. Anyone not having internet access will have 24 hours to confirm in person, their roster spot to the CUSC Office.
 
Failure to confirm your roster spot could result in the player not being selected!!

 

General Tryout Overview 2009/2010

It’s that time of year again!!! Players interested in trying out for a Chesterfield United travel team must register for tryouts online in order to be put in the database and subsequently added to a team through the online system. 

Players tryout for their own age group. Any player wishing to play up must submit, in writing, their request to the office, office@chesterfieldunited.com prior to their 1st scheduled tryout date. This includes any player currently playing up in our travel program. Per our general rules, any player U11 or younger may not play up unless there is no team in their legitimate age group. We will, in most cases, be adhering to this rule. All decisions made by the Technical Staff are final. Any request received after tryouts has taken place will not be granted. No special permission will be granted at the fields. All players granted permission to play up must tryout for both age groups and bring their approved letter to play up with them to tryouts.

Again this year will be a U9 Girls team. This will allow the girls to play together as a group in a travel environment without having to play on a predominantly boys team. It is an excellent way for the girls to have a positive experience within our ever growing girls travel program.

Chesterfield United is constantly growing and developing new programs for it’s travel players so mark your calendars and register online for tryouts!
