UFC ACADEMY TEAMS (U9-U12): UFC Academy is the title designated for our U9 through U12 teams boys and girls. The UFC Academy Program emphasizes technical and physical development while encouraging individual creativity and expression. The concept of academy teams is to create a bigger pool of players that will train together on a consistent basis.  This pool of players would be split up into teams not based on ability.  Talent is equally distributed through the teams in a particular age group thus reiterating the fact that development is the main focus.  Quality training and creating a healthy learning environment is our goal.  The program’s focus is not on winning but on developing each player to his or her fullest potential, preparing the players for success in the future. The program also includes UT2 United Technical Training, Goalkeeper clinics Speed and Agility Training and age specific skills training.  In addition to regular team practices, United FC provides all travel players with year-round training opportunities conducted by our Directors of Coaching.

 

UNITED TEAMS: UNITED teams are generally comprised of U13-U18 players. The UNITED Travel program provides a competitive environment that falls just under the level of our PUMA team. The purpose of these teams is to provide an environment for like-ability players to develop and compete. Teams practice twice per week with games on the weekend. It is the focus of the UNITED teams to develop these players to their fullest soccer potential so that player movement may be acheived to the PUMA team. The program also includes UT2 United Technical Training, Goalkeeper clinics, Speed and Agility Training, and age specific skills training.

 

PUMA TEAMS: PUMA teams represent the most competitive teams offered by Chesterfield United FC. The PUMA teams will select the top players in each age group beginning at U13. Our PUMA teams compete in the ASL Atlantic Soccer League (U15-U18 Boys), the Virginia Soccer League Incorporated (VSLI), and VCCL Virginia Club Champions League (on occasion). Our PUMA teams compete in quality events throughout the year as well.  PUMA teams practice 2-3 times per week with games on the weekend. The program also includes UT2 United Technical Training, Goalkeeper clinics, Speed and Agility Training, and age specific skills training. Girls Program.

 

PUMA ACADEMY (U18 Boys only): The PUMA Academy U18 boys program is designed for players to train at the top level, play in high exposure matches and events, and to have a realistic pathway to make it as a student-athlete at the college soccer level. United FC has put together an extensive College Advisory Program EXPAND. The PUMA Academy is a pool format where up to 36 players will be chosen to participate.  The pool of players will train together 2-3 times per week.  The top 18 will play in the required ASL events and the ASL National Championship.  All 36 players will be guaranteed to play in 6 events total.  Players will have the opportunity to take advantage of our College Advisory Program, have guest College coaches run training sessions during the season, and the 36 pool players will have the opportunity to play in front of college coaches at events throughout the year.
