All new coaches will be required to go through the new national background check
which will require coaches to submit in person a new application form, show a
picture ID and be fingerprinted.
 

Parks and Recreation and the Human Resource Management Department will be
scheduling the new background check fingerprinting process throughout the county
during the months of January through May 2005 so that new coaches can be
certified for the spring sports season. Additional meetings will be scheduled
during the summer, fall and winter for other seasonal sports. Coaches can also
make an appointment with Human Resources department Monday-Friday 8:30 am-5:00
pm by calling 717-6325.
